While the breakfast hours were inconvenient for our plans, we appreciated the helpful staff and enjoyed exploring nearby landmarks like the Shining Tree and Wordsworth House. The noise from above on our first night was bothersome, but the second night was more peaceful. Despite some hiccups, we would recommend staying here for a comfortable base to enjoy the Lakes.

Perfect and modern venue, magnificent location really close to the excellent artwork on the walls, all the restaurants and the Cumbrian west coast such as Whitehaven. Really friendly staff in the whole hotel.

I had a lovely stay! The room was super spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotless. The comfy king-sized bed ensured I got a great night's sleep. the location is perfect, with loads of charming pubs, cafes, and shops just a short walk away. Plus, the free parking made things stress-free!
The noise insulation could be a bit better. I was occasionally disturbed by sounds from neighbors above me, which was a bit annoying. the door keypad took a little getting used to at first. though, it was a great experience!

I could hear everything from the neighbors above and below, which made it tough to get a good night's sleep. Definitely bring earplugs; you'll need them!
